New North and South Summary: Across Manchester watch incredible performances, see extraordinary art and immersive films in a programme of South Asian art, culture and music. Marking the 70th anniversary of the independence of India, Pakistan and later Bangladesh, artists, designers, performers and musicians from South Asia and Britain have been invited to create new works for Manchester’s art galleries and museums.
