PhD by Enterprise Project Call 2027 Description: The University of Manchester’s PhD by Enterprise programme launched in March 2026 and its first cohort starting in October 2026. It is a four-year doctoral programme that combines world-class research with structured entrepreneurship training. The University is investing nearly £2 million in this initiative, which is open to academics across all Faculties. This call invites project proposals from academic supervisors. Successful projects will be advertised to prospective doctoral candidates, with up to six fully funded studentships available to start in 2027/28.
