Age-Friendly Culture Summary: Age-Friendly Culture builds upon Manchester’s and the GM Ageing Hub’s citizen-based approach to ageing. This champions agency, active participation and work led by older people themselves. The ethos is to work “with and for, not to” local people. This longstanding approach seeks to improve the quality of life for older people and make the city-region a better place to grow older.
