Privacy opt out - PANDA study


Summary: The following privacy notice contains information on the how researcher as part of the PANDA study, at the University of Manchester, are using patient dental data. The data will be used to compare the outcomes from those seen in a Child Friendly Dental Practices to those seen through a traditional specialist dental care pathway for children with tooth decay. To do this, we will use securely provided, pseudo-anonymised data from patients who have visited these practices. Any personal information will be deleted after it is linked to ensure confidentiality, and the research is being conducted under strict regulations to protect patient privacy.
