John Lyons Competition Summary: John Lyons: Carnivalesque Illustration Competition To celebrate the first major retrospective exhibition of Caribbean British artist and poet John Lyons the Whitworth and Pentagon Play are looking for budding young artists to illustrate ‘Carnival Jumbie’, one of his published children’s poems. One lucky winner will have their artwork printed as a designed flyer to promote the Whitworth’s free summer family programme, ‘Playtime’.
