International innovations in Childcare Summary: This report discusses the issue of childcare provision in three distinct Metropolitan regions of Europe: Greater Manchester, UK; Cagliari, Sardinia and Barcelona, Spain. In bringing together learning from across these three Metropolitan regions of Europe, we hope to provide Manchester City Council, and specifically their ‘Anti-Poverty Strategy’ (2022-2027), with future possibilities for change in further developing progressive childcare policies.
