Realising Opportunities briefing note for UoM staff Summary: Realising Opportunities is an innovation new programme enabling students to have increased access to 13 of the country’s leading universities through a range of activities. The scheme aims to build on the lessons learnt from the last 10 years of widening participation activity in schools, colleges and universities. It is a pilot programme which has received funding from HEFCE for 3 years. The first cohort of RO students are currently in Year 12.
