Summary: This report presents research findings and policy recommendations from the 5-year ‘Frailty, Resilience and Inequality in Later Life’ programme, led by Professor James Nazroo and the Manchester Institute for Collaborative Research on Ageing (MICRA). This programme of research has been specifically concerned with providing an integrated understanding of processes that lead to both positive and negative outcomes in later life, and how these outcomes are shaped by inequalities.
